Doug Schwartz
Douglas Schwartz has been living in Vail, Colorado since 1993. As a chemical engineering student at Cornell University, he skied in Vail on a break from school. He enjoyed that week so much that he moved to East Vail upon graduation. Born in Rochester, NY, he and his family enjoyed camping and skiing. Throughout his youth, he gained a love and appreciation for the outdoors, and especially the mountains. After discovering the joys of telemark skiing, Doug decided to make Vail his long term home. An avid soccer player, Doug continues to play here in Vail with the Pepi's Soccer Club. When he is able to find the time, Doug loves to play golf and recently learned to fly fish. He also volunteers with the Literacy Project tutoring local students.
Doug, after years of bartending at The Red Lion in Vail Village, decided to pursue a career in real estate. Doug became a Licensed Colorado Real Estate Broker in June, 2004. He approaches real estate with determination and integrity. He strives to satisfy the every need of his real estate clients. The Vail Valley has some truly unique and beautiful properties that Doug loves to showcase. He and his wife, Gayle, along with their sons Jack and Luke, enjoy the peace and beauty of the mountains and the accompanying lifestyle.
